I have been very busy the last couple of weeks, both in my full-time job and my side trips. Good thing there was a 4-day weekend to rejuvenate an ageing body and to get myself ready for the busier BER months.
Going back to our department's photo contest, two of my photos, "Boy Miron" and "Locked", won in the Photojournalism and Still Life category respectively. "Boy Miron" was shot early this year during the annual fiesta in Penaranda, Nueva Ecija. This boy caught my attention, which I guess is around 3 years of age, who was sitting ontop of a tricycle while watching the town parade.
I don't know why I have this fascination of shooting padlocks. I have a collection of padlock photos from most of the places I've been to. "Locked" was taken at Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington in 2008.
